Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1086

"Absolutely not! If we bring him along, I'll have to cater to him the whole time," their father grumbled, clearly not thrilled with the idea.noveldrama

Chad chimed in, "Andre, we really should head back. Molly needs to change before the photo shoot." Molly, sitting in the back, nodded eagerly. "Chad, you really are the man who loves me the most." Even pregnant, she needed to look her best!

Andre ended up driving them back, and their little one came running joyfully to the car to greet them as they arrived home.

"How could you even think of leaving this adorable kid at home?" Mia teased.

Andre was the one who had suggested it, but he was also the first to scoop up their son in a big hug. Once back in the living room, they suggested Hansen and Naomi join them on a little outing to enjoy the lovely spring day since there wasn't much happening at home.

Naomi had to check the accounts at the café and couldn't join them. She reminded the two husbands, "Andre, it's going to cool down later, so make sure Henry has a jacket. Chad, Molly's in a delicate stage of her pregnancy, so watch out for the uneven ground in the canola fields."

Naomi also asked her sisters, "Take lots of photos for me, okay?"

"Of course, Naomi!"

After a quick change upstairs, Henry was dressed in a crisp white shirt for the first time. He watched with wide eyes as his mom buttoned it up, looking all cute and curious.

Mia wore a flowing white dress, looking like a fairy. Molly chose a light green dress, bursting with energy. Chad and Andre exchanged a look; their clothes were still the same from earlier that morning.

Before leaving, Naomi had one last reminder, "Take good care of Dad, alright? He's not getting any younger, so go easy on the teasing."

Hansen was pleased to see he had such caring children.

Since the car was a bit cramped, Andre drove the minivan, with Henry and Grandpa playing in the backseat.

As they neared the village, they could see the brilliant yellow of the canola fields stretching out before them.

Inside the car, Mia and Molly were busy fixing each other's makeup and hair. "Mia, let me try that orange lipstick of yours."

Mia handed it over, applying it

herself. "Molly, that orange doesn't

really go with your green ave

got five different lipsticks; let's try a red one."

Chad glanced back at the busy pair but kept his eyes on the road, not daring to interrupt. Henry, seeing his mom putting on lipstick, was instantly curious. What's that all about? Mia, teasing her son, asked, "Do you want to try some? Mommy can put a bit on you." Seeing the bright red, Henry scrunched up his nose and turned away, wanting no part of the "girly" stuff.

"Such a little man's man, the Cedillo

family sure knows how to raise them," Mia joked in front of three generations of the Cedillo family.

Andre didn't argue, and Henry didn't either.

Chad chuckled, "I have no idea what we're going to have yet."

Molly, adding a touch to her eye makeup, chimed in, "Whatever it is, it's definitely going to be human." Everyone in the car laughed.

When they reached the parking area, all six of them got out.

Hansen stretched, reminiscing, "I visited Indigo Village for a survey back in the day. It's changed so much, I hardly recognize it now."

With the air of a retired leader, Hansen looked around, hands clasped behind his back, "It's developed nicely."

Mia and Molly noticed an old lady selling hats by the roadside and wandered over hand in hand. When they returned, each had a stylish white sunhat, and Henry was wearing a cute little yellow cap.

Looking out at the endless fields of canola, their senses were filled with the sweet fragrance. Photographers with tripods and vloggers shooting videos dotted the landscape capturing the vibrant scene.
