Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 63

She thought for a moment and decided to tell the truth.

“Your mom did it.”

“Hiss, Jesse!”

If she was telling the truth, why did she emphasize it like that?

She was suddenly very angry!

When Jesse met her gaze, he looked away, and the force in his hand also decreased.

Huh, was it her imagination? Why did she feel like Jesse’s gaze was a bit guilty just now?

No, no, she must have been mistaken.

Jesse finished applying the medicine and was ready to leave.

“Wait a minute.”

The wheelchair stopped.

“Let me see your back.” After the collision just now, she was worried…

Jesse didn’t even respond to her request, he just manipulated the wheelchair to continue towards the door.

Nydia immediately stood up and ran to the door to block his way.All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

Jesse frowned because Nydia hadn’t put on her clothes yet.

Because she was a bit nervous, her breathing was heavy and rapid, causing her chest to rise and fall, which caused Jesse’s pupils to slightly contract.

“Get out of the way!” He said in a low voice, his voice slightly tense.

“If you don’t let me see it, I won’t let you go!” Nydia stood in front of the door with a look of defiance. When she reached back to block him, the pain from her wound caused her to frown, but she tried to endure it.

“What’s the point of looking?” Jesse’s tone was mocking.

Nydia was shaken for a moment, but then she responded.

“To check the wound and see if you need to reapply the medicine and change the bandage.”

“You want to change it?” Jesse raised an eyebrow, his gaze unclear.

“What else?” Nydia asked.

Jesse tightened his jaw and was silent for a few seconds before looking at Nydia.

“Nydia, why bother?”

She didn’t understand what Jesse meant by this, but then she heard him continue, “I don’t know what changed your mind about the divorce, but since you don’t want it, I won’t ask for it for now. You can rest assured, so there’s no need to act like this anymore.”

His words felt like a stone suddenly lodged in her throat, leaving her unable to speak for a while, only able to gasp for breath.

“So you’re saying that everything I’ve done was just an act to avoid getting a divorce?” Nydia asked back, her eyes fixed on Jesse with anger, surprise, and hurt.

“What else could it be?” Jesse’s simple response made Nydia lose her mind in an instant. She charged towards him, grabbing his shirt with one hand and tearing off all the buttons in an instant.

Jesse immediately grabbed her wrist, his grip strong enough to make her wince in pain, but she didn’t stop. With her other hand, she tore at his clothes like a wild animal, charging forward without any sense of direction or purpose, only wanting to release the anger in her chest.

The wheelchair wasn’t locked, and with Nydia’s force, it kept moving backward until it hit the edge of the bed and stopped.

“Calm down my ass! I’ve been accommodating enough during this time!” Nydia shouted, her eyes red but with no tears, her neck veins bulging from her exertion, her previously fair neck now turning red.

“You said I was acting, right? Well, I’m not acting now. Are you satisfied?” She sneered, and the wound on her lips reopened as she forcefully pulled the corners of her mouth, blood oozing out and staining her lips, making her smile look somewhat eerie and crazy.

Her hands were restrained and couldn’t break free. In a moment of desperation, she slammed her head hard against Jesse’s head.

The intense pain caused her vision to blur with stars. However, to Jesse’s shock, Nydia seemed to want to do it again.
