I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin)

Chapter 254

Chapter 254 Anything You Say

Larry came out of the club with Benjamin. They met Julia who had just arrived at the club at the door. Julia immediately walked up to Larry and took his arm. "Larry, you are drunk. Shall I send you back?"

Then, she looked at Benjamin. Although Harper had taught her a lesson, Benjamin was too powerful to be ignored. She said, "Hello, Benjamin. It's late. How about I get you a designated driver?"

"No need." Benjamin didn't drink. He looked at Larry and said, "I'm leaving."

Larry shook Julia's arm off and immediately caught up with him. "I'll stay at your place tonight."

Julia was left alone and said aggrievedly, "Larry, I came here to pick you up. If you are photographed, your grandpa will find out tomorrow."

"Are you threatening me with Grandpa?" Although Larry was drunk, his mind was sober. He stared at Julia indifferently and said, "Don't think you could hide everything from me. I'm telling you. Just this once. If you dare to bother her again, we'll be over." Larry's warning stunned Julia.Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

She dared not say anything anymore and could only watch Larry leave. Finally, she left in a car.

Julia pressed her lips tightly, and the coldness in her eyes deepened.

The next morning, Paul was discharged.

Curtis drove Paul back to the Martin Manor and then quickly drove Lily to Harper's company.

Curtis relayed Benjamin's message to Lily intact. Lily asked, "What does Benjamin mean? Does he expect me to persuade Harper?"

"Mrs. Lily Martin, I dare not speculate on Mr. Martin's intentions. Maybe he is just worried about Mrs. Martin now that she is pregnant, so he wants you to go and have a look."

Lily smiled, "That's tactful. You should teach Benjamin more and let him say something nice to Harper. Otherwise, if my grandson or granddaughter is born, he will have no place in this family."

Curtis twitched his mouth slightly, not daring to reply, but he felt funny secretly.

Curtis sent Lily downstairs to Harper's company and left. Lily took the elevator up alone. She had visited here once and was familiar with the way.

She specially bought coffee from the café downstairs to refresh everyone in the morning.

Sophia was the first to see Lily. She quickly greeted Lily warmly and then took her to Harper's office.

Harper was not surprised to see Lily because she was pregnant. Paul knew about it early on, but Lily and Scott only found out in the past two days. Lily and Harper looked at each other and smiled.

Sophia quickly left and closed the door.

Harper said, "Lily, what are you doing here? Have you had breakfast? Is Paul discharged?"

"Yes. I came over to see you as soon as he returned home." Lily took Harper to the sofa and sat down. She then asked in a low voice, "How are you feeling? Are you and the baby okay?"

Harper nodded. "Yeah, we're fine."

"Glad to hear that. It's hard for you to be pregnant. You should also reduce your work appropriately and not overwork. Got it?"

"I see. Anything you say."

"You'll really listen to me?" An idea occurred to Lily.

But Harper didn't think much about it. She just smiled, "Yes. I'll never lie to you."

"In this case, why don't you move back to the Martin Manor and live with us? This way, I can take care of you. You have to pay attention to the nutritional balance in your diet now. I would feel bad if you lived alone. So, move back and let me take care of you, okay?"

Harper was stunned.

She didn't expect Lily to say that.

Before Harper could speak, Lily continued, "You can't refuse me. You have said you would listen to me."

Harper gave a wry smile and said,
